The Pentacle and Tarot

Tarot cards were used by magicians in ancient times and they are still widely used today by psychics to predict someone’s future and to allow the reader to tell of past events and how those are going to affect the future. The pentacle is a common sign within tarot cards and there are actually fourteen out of the seventy-cards in a tarot deck that are shown with the pentacle. However, these pentacles are shown in different numbers and in different forms and each one has its own meaning. Read below to find out the different meanings of the pentacle on tarot cards.

Ace of Pentacles: This card represents luck with money and financial success. It shows clouds above with a hand extending from them and a garden of lilies below. A psychic may read this as meaning that the subject is about to get a new job or start a new business.

Two of Pentacles: This card means that the subject has a lot to handle at the moment. It shows a juggler juggling two pentacles that are bound together with a cord in the shape of a figure eight. Eight of Pentacles: This card shows an apprentice carving out a pentacle. This could mean that the subject is about to get a new job or take a new course.

Nine of Pentacles: A woman dressed in nice clothing is on this card. She has a bird on her wrist. This might mean that the subject is about to receive an inheritance or money that they are not expecting.

Ten of Pentacles: This card shows a family with their dogs sitting in front of an archway that bears a coat of arms. This could be interpreted to mean that the subject is about to purchase a new home or business.

Page of Pentacles: This could depict either a prince or princess standing in a field looking at a pentacle. This indicates future planning and good things to come with a new course.

Knight of Pentacles: This card shows a knight riding through a field and gazing at a pentacle in his hand. This indicates that the man is strong and responsible and may be about to start a new business dealing.

Queen of Pentacles: This card shows a queen of fertility sitting on her throne with cupid in the back. This shows that someone is very giving and may also be a good mother.

King of Pentacles: This card shows a king holding a scepter to show his power in one hand and a pentacle in another. This means that the man is a good businessman, and generous with charities. It could also indicate that he is a good husband.
